A newly developed residential home located at Bells Beach has five magnificent double chord trusses made of GL18 Vic Ash Hardwood displayed in the kitchen area of this amazing 15-bedroom home.
Vicbeam supplied the double chord trusses fabricated to be assembled with steel plates and black bolts on-site. These black bolts resonate well with the dark timber that’s been coated with a layer of Cutek Chestnut.
All five double chord trusses were coated by hand and installed in the centralised kitchen space, where custom glazed windows help separate the room and provide privacy without intruding the interiors space and timber texture.
The additional stone wall feature complements the timber trusses and looks amazing with a modern fireplace situated in the middle. Together with the display of double chord timber features, the bolted trusses add a modern tone to the interiors and styling of the home.
All timber members were cut to size, drilled and fabricated with holes before delivered and assembled on-site. Vicbeam are impressed by the quality produced by Fort Constructions.
