Cabin 2 – Blairgowrie
1960’s Log Cabin extension turned spectacular
Vicbeam are proud to manufacture GL13 Radiata Pine Beams for Cabin 2 located in Bay side Blairgowrie.
A daring project which smartly utilises timber beams, both inside and out for structural integrity and honesty. The project shows a level of architectural genius and pays tribute to timber workmanship at its finest. This workmanship is continued through to each of the Gl13 Radiata Pine Beams inside the cabin. The results are simply staggering.
This project received nominations in two categories in the 2014 Australian Institute of Architects (Vic.) awards: ‘Small Project’ and ‘Residential – Alterations & Additions’.
