Its exciting to be part of a custom designed pergola project that is in-demand and easy to assemble. The Lynwood Country club now contains a small pergola designed to provide shelter for a kid’s playground while visitors can look out to a magnificent golf course view.
GL13 Radiata Pine has been H3 treated and coated with two layers of Cutek Extreme, providing highly resistant rafters that is also protected from decay, rot and insects. The pergola structure is dominated with steel poll connections bolted together to provide a stable frame and support of two timber rafters. Its timber texture adds a nice touch to the white tone of the tensile fabric cover.
The arched tensile fabric ensures a cover ideal for all weather conditions. It offers the benefits of acoustic comfort from outside noise and provides an ideal temperature for playing activities and sports.
Vicbeam are proud to have worked with SMC2 Business Development Manager, Irene Conde Villar, who were satisfied with the timber rafters provided by Vicbeam. SMC2 is a global company that specialise in engineering multi-scaled pergola structures for a range of sporting arenas. The pergola project required Vicbeam to fabricate and deliver 13.0 metre rafters ready for assembling on-site.
Although small in comparison to other projects, this pergola structure is aesthetically pleasing with its combination of white steel connections and excellent inclusion of timber texture. This is a great example of a project designed using the best materials for pergola structures to date.
