Two classic looking pergolas feature well for a residential home located at Cold Stream. Both are custom designed purposely to suit the home and provide shelter for a spacious setting. Vicbeam supplied glulam timber manufactured from Accoya’s acetylated pine, known for its naturally enhanced resistance, durability and with 50 years warranted above ground.
The two pergolas are fantastic examples of custom and bespoke projects. Made of Pine, both the pergola structures are of quality timber finishes that was fabricated with precisely cut notches and assembled on-site with hidden connections.
Consistent cuts to the ends of each rafter beam adds a classic style to the pergolas, contrasting well from the nature strips, the home, and its open plan landscape. The rafter beams are painted creamy white and installed supported by large sized columns made of stone and clay. They go well together, exposing an earthy and creamy tone to the background.
As seen in the images, both pergolas have a layer of paint that seamlessly ties well with the home and its rendered walls. This is presented for the pergola located to the side of the home, where notched rafter beams are connected from the home to squared posts; creating a stable structure that looks magnificent.
A great example of a custom pergola project where both pergolas add value to the property and its social setting. We are proud to have worked with the client and builders to produce two modern and classic style pergolas that will last for years to come.
