Essetre CNC Machine
Enhanced prefabrication machinery for woodworking
Vicbeam manufacturing and prefabricating capabilities is enhanced with a state-of-art Techno One CNC machine from Essetre. Using a sophisticated control system that integrates with Cadwork and a 5-axis milling head, the machine can execute precision fabrication including cuts, slots, and holes to our glulam beams.
The new CNC machine can automatically swap between circular saw blades, drills, milling tools, chain saw, and a mortise allowing user to route or drill at different angles of the glulam at 18 metres maximum.
This system is compatible to Cadwork, a software that eases the process of workshop drawings with 3D modelling. The software considers all glulam manufacturing conditions to provide the best outcome for a CNC fabrication job, which includes optimizing beams to be nested and providing a list of materials from 3D designs. Additionally, the system provides QR codes which allows access to models that can be useful in the assembling stages.
The new setup from Italy will deliver glulam connections with precision. These involve custom base, beam to beam and multi-beam connections which were always prefabricated and assembled by hand. However, with the addition of the CNC machine our new fabrication process will deliver consistent and cleaner results.
The innovative technology will take our commercial projects to a new level. We are excited to work with the Essetre Techno One CNC machine and Cadwork software to deliver prefabricated glulam for your project. Talk to us to find out more.
