A state-of-the-art re-development have been built in Springvale, Southeast. Equipped with new technologies, the hub offers a spacious office area and library to foster learning and engagement among the multi-cultural community, which sets the benchmark with its 5 Green Star rating.
Vicbeam supplied glulam made of GL10 White Cypress, which were A-graded in-house and were delivered ready to be installed vertically with veil glass panels, which piece by piece creates a geometric scaled pattern for buildings façade.
The flowing landscape and use of vibrant colours signify Springvale’s multicultural diversity. All build materials feature wonderfully together and although hidden from the front, the vertical glulam beams add natural finish to the building and contrasts with the veil glass.
In addition, the new facilities will also target a 5 Green Star rating with sustainable features and zero carbon emission, efficient heating and cooling systems and low energy LED lights. Top that with natural materials such as Glulam, Springvale’s new community centre will set the benchmark for other communities to follow.
