It’s encouraging to see GLT pergolas feature in many Australian residential homes. Once assembled, the structure adds value to your outdoor setting and becomes a great looking feature for the alfresco area when using glue laminated timber products.
Vicbeam provided two pergolas that are fantastic examples of introducing custom Glue Laminated Timber to the outdoors. Made of GL13 Radiata Pine timber, both the pergola structures are of quality timber finishes that was H3 treated, fabricated and ready to be assembled on-site.
The chosen colours compliment well with the background for both pergolas. As seen in the images, both pergolas have a layer of paint to match the home and provide timber protection. In one home, the dark grey tone of the pergola combines well with the rendered pillars, whilst the white painted pergola of the second home brings out the timber decking.
