Design & Drafting
Providing glulam timber work-shop drawings and drafting solutions.
Meet our project management & design team who have combined over 50+ years’ experience in timber engineered projects. We are driven to provide well thought out solutions using materials such as GLT, Mass Timber, LVL and other solid timber products.
It’s important to seek the right advice and solution for projects involving glulam (GLT) during the initial stages of a project. Vicbeam’s project manager’s and in-house draftsperson are qualified to provide a comprehensive solution for timber products and testing, with third party engineer as recommendation for structural engineering solutions.
Vicbeam will play a crucial role in providing the right glulam products for your project and provide ongoing recommendations to qualified engineers and architects using AutoCAD Software.
This has allowed Vicbeam to extend our services to small scaled projects such GLT Pergolas, where we have manufactured custom glulam structures based on in-housework drawings and 3D modelling. The Brunswick Bowling Club and St Pauls Anglican Grammar School Pergolas are great examples of finished products from Vicbeam shop drawings.
The service has extended to major projects in which we were integral during the initial stages of work drawings. The San Clemente, Melton Community Hub and St Josephs Trusses are significant projects where Vicbeam were heavily involved in providing timber solutions and responsible of providing work-shop drawings to builders.
We believe the initial stages of design is where collaborative ideas are shared to produce the right outcome for your timber project. Vicbeam have had a history of Architects, Engineers and Builders seeking timber solutions and it’s our intent to work with you and make your creative timber ideas a reality.
The video below demonstrates work drawings and 3D modeling of glulam Warren trusses by Vicbeam. The short video promises snaps of before and after shots of AutoCad drawings and final timber structure. It demonstrates the level of detail required in the initial stages of build projects involving timber.
